The same discipline, one SoC, in orbit.
A generic low-level software implementing a real-time OS-like environment, largely independent of the specific hardware. A specialised version of GeminiX-OS, designed for mission-critical single-SoC systems in the LEO radiation environment.

What it provides.
- A mirrored-memory paradigm duplicating data in negated form, for on-line fault detection
- A time-window watchdog
- A 64-bit timer
- An autonomous bus-test component in the FPGA fabric
- MISRA C:2012 coding discipline with defensive programming
- Controlled execution flow by token passing
- CBC-MAC firmware integrity checking
And what it does not claim.
GeminiX-OS-Space shares a core with the certified railway operating system. It is not the certified railway operating system, and rail certification does not transfer to a space mission by family resemblance.
What transfers is the engineering: the coding discipline, the diagnostic approach, the documentation practice and the people. That is a strong claim on its own and it does not need inflating.
Where it runs.
GMX-QUBE
The LEO payload computer, on a Zynq-7000 SoC with an independent radiation-tolerant system monitor. Linux is the alternative; GeminiX-OS-Space is the option that brings FPGA-assisted diagnostics.

The RISC-V high-performance computer. Porting GeminiX-OS-Space is part of the ESA activity, and the toolchain is expected to support it because the code is MISRA-C:2012.
